Why Volunteer?

Aria is the term for a soloist in an opera, a person who sings alone but is accompanied by an orchestra. As our journey through life comes to a close we are surrounded by our own personal orchestra, people who care for us and love us.

Why Volunteer?

Aria volunteers offer support, companionship and practical, compassionate help. Some interact directly with patients and families. Others prefer to work behind the scenes in the office setting. As a volunteer, you help determine which tasks you’re best suited to perform. The roles of volunteers are typically divided into two major categories: those who are directly involved with caring for loved ones and their families and those who provide support services.

“Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver.”

Work for Aria

  • Elisse Young

I have had a great experience volunteering with Aria, they communicate with me so well and are very understanding with my schedule. I have an amazing experience volunteering with Ginny we have a great connection and I am glad I could help. That is why I had my friends join your program because I really love volunteering for Aria more than any other place because your staff is amazing.

I feel the whole experience has had a positive impact on me. I feel what you put in you get back. This experience has helped me look at life from a different perspective and showed me that you can’t take the little things for granted. I appreciate life so much more and I appreciate the Aria staff because they have shown me how much they care about their people no matter what role.

Aria has a great program that gives me the chance to give back to my community and even though I have only made one visit I still felt good about myself when I left and I knew that I wanted to do it again.
