A New Life
March 20 th 2021 will be the 1 st day of Spring this year. Spring is the time of year when everything in nature is changing and promising new life and new hope.
CHOICE
Hospice is not about dying but about choosing how you live. You get to be in control; hospice care allows you to choose that which brings you pleasure and peace. This gives those who are in need of hospice care so much hope, and comfort when they need it most.
COMFORT
Yet too often people wait until the pain and symptoms are overwhelming to contact hospice. While hospice can provide comfort and improve quality of life at any time, the earlier you are able to receive care, the better. That gives us the ability to ensure that your pain, anxiety, fatigue are managed so you can do things that make you happy for as long as possible.
SUPPORT
At Aria Hospice we also provide support for your loved ones throughout this process. This can be such a challenging time for them, and often they have so many questions that go unanswered. Our staff of medical professionals understands this, and have walked many families through this process over the years. Most of us are intimately acquainted with hospice, having lost loved ones ourselves. We endeavor to remove the fears and stigmas so that you can experience life together for as long as possible.
I hope that this March is an inspiration to learn more about your health challenges and begin planning so that you are able to live your best life - the life you choose - until the end. At Aria Hospice, our heart is to serve our patients. It is so fulfilling to be able to help our patients travel, and spend time with their family and friends, enjoying all that life has to offer. We have an amazing group of volunteers who have helped patients complete projects that were left undone for many years.
Call us today to find out how we can help. We also offer Aging in Place; a free service to our community that provides a Social Worker to help complete Advance Directives, Power of Attorneys, Living Wills. This is critical to individuals who are aging and haven’t made the preparations necessary to help your family should anything happen to you.
